CCOI, newly launched in 2023, is an evolving project. NLM anticipates expanding the capabilities, outputs and supporting resources for CCOI in the coming years.

Planned Enhancements to CCOI:

• Expanding clinical datasets
• Facilitating queries across datasets to answer research questions for NIH researchers

Planned creation of resources to support CCOI users:

• Consultations – Providing consultations to researchers using CCOI resources.
• Trainings – Facilitating, coordinating and/or promoting data or platform owner led trainings to educate researchers on data access and use, including platforms that may be available through CCOI.
• Webinars and Workshops- Conducting webinars and workshops on topics of interest identified consultations and interactions with CCOI users.
• Communities of Practice (CoP)- Building CoPs in order to facilitate hands-on collaboration on topics of common interest related to CCOI’s work and mission.
