Expertise and Research Interests:
Mr. Chung is a developer on the Turning The Pages project, which creates photorealistic books from scanned pages of historical medical books and makes them available in both kiosk and Web versions. Visitors may touch and turn these pages in a highly realistic way. They can zoom in on the pages for more detail, read or listen to explanations of the text, and access additional information on the books in the form of curator's notes. He is responsible for all software (Macromedia Flash) and Web programming, animations, and image enhancements.
