public class KeyValueTable
extends java.lang.Object

This program is to used to load key|value table from a file. The table is stored in a hash table as Hashtable<String, String>. It also eliminate duplicates. This program could be replaced by database File Format: key|value notes: no key has multiple values from the input file

GetValue

public static java.lang.String GetValue(java.lang.String key,
                        java.util.Hashtable<java.lang.String,java.lang.String> keyValueTable)

Get the mapping value for the key in the key-value table.

Parameters:

key - the key for the mapping value

keyValueTable - the key-value table

Returns:

the mapping value for the key in the key-value table. Returns empty string if no value found.

GetKeyValueTable

public static java.util.Hashtable<java.lang.String,java.lang.String> GetKeyValueTable(java.lang.String inFile,
                                                                      boolean verbose,
                                                                      int lineNum)

Get the key-value table by loading all key-value pairs from a file with options of verbose and show loading lineNum.

Parameters:

inFile - the file includes key-value pairs to be loaded

verbose - verbose flag

lineNum - loading status of line number to be displayed

Returns:

the key-value table
