Search by Base Form

I. Introduction
LexAccess also provides users to search by base form. A base form is the uninflected form. Four types of base search are provided:

Exact match: retrieve all records with base match the input term
Begins with: retrieve all records with base begin with the input term
Contains: retrieve all records with base contain the input term
Ends with: retrieve all records with base end with the input term

II. Usage
To perform this search, users need to:

Select search mode to "Search By Base"
- By Top menu bar: Options -> Search Mode -> By Base
- By Keys: Alt + b
Type in a base
Select a match type (default is exact match)
Click on "Search" button

III. Examples
Below show an example of search exact match of "saw". Please note that only two records are found. Record of "see" is not included in the result since it is not exact match for the base form.
