Abstract:

Internet resources are now perceived asessential to medical practice. For mobiledoctors, smartphones offer convenient access tothe Internet. Since 2002, the National Libraryof Medicine has provided resources forsearching MEDLINE on mobile devices. Areview of PubMed for Handhelds server logsshow that mobile devices now account for morethan 25% of all access. We predict continuedincrease as more clinicians use smartphones.
