GeneTests and GeneClinics (www.geneclinics.org) were originally developed as the yellow pages and users manual of genetic testing with the primary audience being healthcare professionals (in particular genetics professionals) and a smaller secondary audience anticipated to include consumers. Use by consumers is growing rapidly. The presentation will address some of the ways in which the consumer audience has influenced the project to date and ways in which it may influence it in the future.
