Biography:
Sarah came to the LHNCBC in 1995. She currently serves as a Systems Administrator for the CSB,
providing technical and administration support to the branch. Her areas of responsibility include
branch system security, multi-platform hardware support, operating system implementation, systems
design, and database management as well as the oversight of the branch operating budget. She also
works with the NLM Gateway project team to improve the usability of their web interface.
Ms. Ward began her government service as a member of the administrative staff for the CSB. She is
a graduate of Shepherd University with a degree in Marketing and is currently working towards a degree
in Information Assurance through UMUC. Prior to her civil service career, she worked in the private sector
in the areas of Public Accounting and Mortgage Servicing.
