Biography:
Jim Goltz manages the systems that are part of the NLM Gateway search
engine. The NLM Gateway allows users to search simultaneously in
multiple retrieval systems at the NLM, providing "one-stop
searching" for many of NLM's information resources and databases.
Jim has worked at the Lister Hill Center since 2004, first for the
Cognitive Science Branch, then for Computing Resources, joining CSB
in December of 2006. He has 27 years of experience with systems
administration, network engineering, programming, web development and
administration, and information security. He earned a B.S. in Computer
Science from the University of Maryland and holds a GIAC General
Security certification.
